Well...this is an issue that wouldn’t last long - their base is willing to fork over the cash quickly and often...unlike ours...which apparently requires something drastic like our candidate to get unjustly convicted of a farce of a crime before they wake and up and say “oh...I guess we better actually try to win this election” rather than leaving our candidates to twist in the wind.
I think the biggest problem if they replace Biden is what to do with all the ballots already filled out for Biden? Imagine Biden still getting 80 million votes with another democrat running??? Ooops
If Biden withdraws, how much campaign money will he be allowed to keep?
So they ignore the law, transfer and spend the money, and 2-3 years later pay a 10K fine.
How would a “medical event” affect the salary of members of Congress?
The more I hear the more convinced I am that they are stuck with Biden....or an even worse option: Heels Up Harris.

No he can’t. His polling in the South and the Midwest is FAR worse than Bidens...and it has been for a long time. The voters already know him and they don’t trust him one bit.
Oops, I read that wrong.
Perhaps the states' courts could deem that those votes are for his replacement. Anybody contesting that would either have no standing or will have filed too late.

I’ve seen those too but the nomination hasn’t happened yet so I don’t know how that can be true?
