It involves strategists, party officials and fundraisers, and they are having conversations about the president's performance, which they think was dismal.

I disagree. I saw the Reagan-Carter debate in 1980. When Carter stated he got political advice from his teenage daughter, that was a knockout blow.

I saw that debate and that was one of those great moments and costly to Carter but it wasn’t the full fantasy spectacle blowout that we always hope to see but which is in reality impossible between two experienced pros, until tonight, and we have never seen the left and media react to a debate like this, they saw a train wreck of their own candidate.
That line was the most dramatic confirmation that the nice guy Joe persona was always BS. He is and always was a heartless SOB

Dems can’t have it both ways. If they say he’s not up to the job then they have to say who is it that’s actually doing the job. It’s scandalous. Stories will be coming out by anonymous sources in the WH about who knew. Who tried to tell who. Who gave Joe the drugs. If you don’t see those stories in the coming days, he remains their candidate. If the diaper stories come out, he’s done.
the thing is, no one can FORCE him out. He personally picked all the delegates at the convention.
The nomination is his if he wants it, and I can guarantee you that stubborn ass really believes this dark brandon bs and that he is 100% fine.

Democrat leaders need to make the hike up to the White House and let Joe and Jill know its time to leave. Resign for the good of the party. Let Harris be president but impress on her that she should elect to NOt run. Let the Convention be open and seek out a new superstar like Bill C. was or Obama. New blood untainted like Newsom or Como. That would excite people. Pick a black person to win back defecting black voters. Someone who could counter Trump’s populist lead. It is their only chance.
Several of my neighbors have Biden/Harris signs up. Wonder if they will come down tomorrow or this weekend?
Joe might be easier to convince than Dr. Jill.
