I'm voting for Trump in November, even if he wins, I'm expecting that he'll become a lame duck immediately (mostly not his fault).

But if we went with DeSantis, we'll get eight years out of him.

The Democrats know that they have to block Trump's agenda for four years then they can start over with Gavin Newsom in January 2029.

So you’re voting for a candidate — or so you say —,that you talk trash about in a public venue every chance you get. Seems irrational and counterproductive to me.
