I haven’t seen it corroborated anywhere else, and I watch/read/listen to news all day.
(That said, I wouldn’t put it past CNN. And I wouldn’t put it past them to do it and deny it, either.)
Everyone in here had lost their ever loving minds. It’s absolutely hilarious to see the reactions I’m seeing. An X account who no one has ever in their life heard of sends an anonymous message about completely unconfirmed information a the whole forum loses its S h !t!! For a forum of “deep thinkers” we’ve sure fallen off the tallest branch of the tallest tree. I’m almost certain the forum has been completely good winked! I’m thinking it’s a good time to start back up the King of Zimbabwe needs bail retainer money scam.

Trump should just use his opening statement time to point out how much CNN has rigged this debate in Biden’s favor and explain why he won’t participate in such a ridiculous sham. Then just walk off the set.
Of course, then CNN wouldn’t even show it... They’d just claim Trump chickened out.

Just say what time it is at the end of his response
Even in 7 seconds, that can be quickly edited out. And it may be longer than 7 seconds that are given to edit.
Some people think a one minute or so delay means that the debate will start at 9:01. This is not true. Coverage will start at 9 pm.
Those who think that it means a delayed start time do not understand how live editing is done. It can happen while the camera pans to a moderator and he/she asks the question. The camera is no longer on the candidate. This is long enough to do many edits of the candidate, while the camera is on someone else. Misdirection.
All I can say I that I am skeptical of anything that the media tells us.
I am not planning to watch this “live”. I don’t watch the news when it’s broadcast. Why should I change tonight? No thanks.
I pray for our country, and I pray for Donald Trump. That’s about all I can do where I am right now.
I learned not to trust at a pretty early age. People have to prove to me they are worth my trust.
I give leeway, but I’m still a skeptical person about lots of stuff.

That would just be edited into a long pause to make Trump look hesitant.
They really should impose a one-hour delay so they have maximum amount of time to edit Joe Biden’s gaffes and Deep Fake Trump saying outrageous things.
1-2 minutes isn’t enough.
You know this two minute delay crap reminds me so much of the water break they had in Georgia on election night. Something stinks here. What are they up to? These bastards are evil and this is payback to Trump for all the times that he called them out at his rallies. Don’t doubt me for one minute they’re up to something awfully dirty. And we won’t find out until after the debate or tomorrow morning.
