I don’t like Trump, but he definitely is more like a statesman than Biden. Looks on top of it compared to Biden. Everyone can see claims of dementia are false. I do wish Trump had not gone back to the junior high egotistical sounding statement - the troops like me, they like me.

I think he said it to counter Bidens comments that he called them losers.
What is he supposed to do, stay silent and not counter Biden's false claims about "suckers and losers" and Biden claiming he's done more for veterans than Trump ever did. I've voted for Trump twice because he defends himself, and doesn't sit in a corner with his tail between his legs like a scolded puppy when the media lies about him. But George H.W. Bush, George W. Bush, Bob Dole, John McCain and Mitt Romney sure did. They were gutless wonders. I'd take 20 Donald Trumps over those pathetic losers, not even willing to stand up for themselves. If they won't fight back for themselves, they're sure as hell not going to fight for me.
