And that's only because they took what had always been misdemeanor level offenses, and deliberately raised them to felony level just to go after Trump.
And Trump didn't even commit the misdemeanor. The transactions were properly accounted for, but Bragg needed to make them false by concocting a conspiracy to commit another crime. He created a circular crime by saying the records were falsified to cover up a crime, and that the crime must be true because he falsified the records.
