True - diehard Biden/Trump supporters aren’t likely to change their minds, it’s the people who aren’t pledged to either side to whom Trump needs to lay out the case against Biden & his policies.

But it may change some strategies. If biden fails badly dims already are prepared for a switch or something. What’s interesting is if biden does well enough that the handlers that are considering a switch decide to hang on to biden that could hand Trump the election later.
This debate could provide a nice lose lose for the dim party.
