I view any ChiCom made product, including my own cell phone, as being a potential tool to gather intelligence for the ChiComs.

And I include damn near anything made over there the same way. It is who they are. And we better get on board with that soon as a nation.

General Robert Spalding, USAF (Ret.) former B-2 Pilot who learned Mandarin in a year, and while on active duty, went to China in the early 2000’s to get a business degree. He did it at the behest of the USAF, openly, as a commissioned officer, so he knows of what he speaks.

He was the cyber specialist to the JCS, was a member of the NSC, and got canned from his job for making such a public stink about allowing the ChiComs to build our 5G networks (and those of our allies) that he was fired.

I have no doubt how he views this kind of thing, and I would concur.

Money ahead of anything sensible. I lump this along with the stupidity of the Chinese making our pharmaceuticals, pet food, and worse human food. Bad enough is car parts, appliances, etc. Just about every market. And in my estimation a huge hole is that 49% of a product can be foreign made, yet have a “Made in USA” label. Ridiculous, and very dangerous.

You, my FRiend, are looking at the wrong bad actor here. What on earth interest would the CCP have in snooping on you via a Chicom manufactured device? Your true enemy here, the DC IC, has every reason to utilize any device you might come in contact with as part of their ongoing effort to spy on MAGA Constitutionalist DVEs, like you and me.
