Problem is Justice in our imperfect system is not swift and sure.
If it were, many lives of innocents may be saved.
The other problem is the prosecutors can’t be held responsible so they are reckless.

The “justice” system is slow and imperfect if it’s you or me that gets killed. When it involves one of our betters, things move quickly.

I remember a guy walked into a courthouse in Fort Worth TX and shot a lawyer about 20 years ago and they had a needle in his arm in maybe a year.
