Time to start defunding and cutting back on the FBI. They’ve become way too political.
The individuals who did it and those who ordered it done need to face a firing squad. Politicians and federal bureaucrats need to be held to a much higher standard than they are now, and they need to have serious skin in the game.
Defunding is not enough. It's way past due to hold individuals in government institutions who break the law liable, i.e., tried and imprisoned. We need to make examples of lawless actors in our institutions - severe punishment is required.

While I agree with the sentiment, I think the more practical and effective measure would be to lop off as many top layers as it takes to make the FBI (and every Govco department for that matter) non-political, or at least non-Leftist.
