Rove was saying that the convictions have hurt Trump with independents. He had a list of recent polls, some with Trump slightly ahead, some with Biden slightly ahead, some with them tied, but he thought there was a slight movement away from Trump after the convictions were announced. These were overall polls (not just of independents).

I don't trust Rove but I find it interesting to hear what he has to say. Of course his ties are to the Bush faction.

Yeah, I seem to recall an article a week or so ago giving Dem insight on the conviction and one person said basically, probably not a gamechanger, but could help Biden on the margins.

Biden himself has had horrible weeks, the only event to point to cause a tightening trend is Trump’s conviction.
