Exactly, Russia occupied the Crimea which was part of Ukraine.
But the reason for the occupation had nothing to do with elections, or NAZIs, or NATO, or what other fig leaf excuse that is given.
This war is just the first physical conflict between two central banking systems. The US Dollar on one side, BRICS on the other.
Ukraine has zero rights to Crimea... nor does the Russian Federation have to abide by corrupt deals made by the apparatchiks of the USSR. The people of Crimea overwhelmingly want to be a part of Russia. Why do the wishes of the people of Crimea amount to zero for you people?
This is a resource and land grab. Putin is nothing more than a modern day Rus Viking. He is snatching hydrocarbon, mineral, and agricultural resources. Plus securing Russian gas line routes and the Black Sea Coast. And people. Russia is rapidly depopulating and needs women and children.
