The U.S. and NATO could win the war in a day, if they wanted to destroy Russia. That's not the goal for the alliance. The goal is to make it very expensive for Russia, both in casualties and weapons and economic losses. Russia is not doing well on any of those fronts, and they can't continue with their massive losses for much longer. Wars can be very expensive in many ways, and Russia is not even close to matching what the NATO/US alliance can throw at them. Your way of thinking is not how the world works.
