How does the Buckley rule apply?

It's Utah, not Maryland, vote for the best candidate. Period. If PACs spend all this money attacking Staggs, then Staggs can win.

By the way, d'ja ever notice how astro turf organizations like to give themselves names that are at odds with the actual membership? "Conservative Values for Utah" is likely composed of anti-Trumpers. "Defend American Jobs" is funded by Silicon Valley, which loves migrant visas. It is all about the lies.

The Pacs went after Staggs when, at the debate, he disclosed that Curtis made a stock purchase in a local medical company that got a federal contract that very day. That buy smacks of Pelosi-like insider trading. Curtis went ballistic, within a few days the attack ads started. Coordination or Coincidence? You decide.
