This is turning into an Air us campaign on the part of British tabloids. Dont confuse yourself and believe that the Brit’s wouldn’t do this.

Boeing’s DEI in there somewhere. Check out some of their chief operating officers.

And someone on this forum just yesterday told me I “had nothing to worry about when it comes to Boeing planes.”

Maintenance done by people without licenses ….. Is commonplace nowadays. That's the kind of thing that happens when gov't unconstitutionally meddles in and takes over The Free Market Economy.
People think the gov't in charge will make things safer. Aside from military defense, gov't meddling in our economy and lives makes things worse.
Big individual freedom and small gov't thrives. Big gov't and small individual freedom is a disaster.

I went and looked it up, an airplane window is about an inch thick.

Did a Boeing dump truck throw a rock and crack the windshield?

Hit by something at 40,000 ft?
It came from outer space!

As they are saying, "If it's Boeing - I ain't going."
For whom it may concern, I'm not whistle-blowing on Boeing and I'm not suicidal.

It’s turnin’ into an “Atlas Shrugged” kinda world, isn’t it?

The exact same thing happened to me when flying a T-39 (with a General on board) years ago. We landed safely. So, yes, s**t happens, and it’s not always associated with Boeing.

The crack in the four-layer thick glass left cockpit crew terrified as the plane made its transatlantic voyage.I can just imagine the in-flight announcement over the P.A. after that crack suddenly developed:
"G-g-good-dd afternoon-nn, ladies and g-g-g-gentlem-m-men. Th-th-this is your c-c-captain speaking! Is there anyone onboard with a tube of Superglue or something that we could use to patch up a humungous crack in our front windshield? Also: I think I just crapped my pants!"

Since it was dented, that indicates a collision with something. Meteorite or maybe satellite debris.

Are we to the point where we can’t manufacture planes decently in the US?
To: libh8er
“Despite the huge crack, pilots tried to calm fears that the cabin had suffered from any decompression and the airline apologised to passengers.“
No clue what to make of this. More and more I’m reading news stories that seem written by a child or an idiot or were translated by software.
