I’m not SBC, but from people I’ve talked to, they are leaning that way. They may even have facilities set up at borders to help the criminals come in — like Catholic Charities — but I’m not positive about that.
They are interpreting / corrupting The Great Commission, IMO. When it says, “Go ye”, it means GO. It doesn’t mean to facilitate criminal activity.
Yes it is a corrupted interpretation of the Bible which ignores a lawless invasion as “not mistreating the foreigner”.
But the Woke stuff is accelerating thru all the denominations at a frightening rate.
And not surprisingly, the same Boomers who are in a coma about the overall decline of the West are also in denial about the rapid Left march of the Christian churches.
