I still blame Reagan for signing the first amnesty. I was a liberal then and I knew it incentivized illegal immigration in perpetuity. Arrive, live under the radar, wait ten years, next amnesty, repeat.
Now they don’t even have to live underthe radar.
Don’t tell me “Enforcement was never carried out as it should have been.” That part was entirely predictable.
