I understand the point, but given the vipers’ nest of two-faced traitors who tried to undermine Trump’s agenda at every turn last time, the #1 priority needs to be rock solid loyalty. If we get more Pences and Barrs again this will all be for naught.
The problem last time was the Trump did not fire all eligible-to-fire appointees. Heck, he even kept some of the White House staff. Trump 2.0 should set up a jobs website and begin soliciting people, screening them, and having them ready on day one. I just did a quick search and several sites say that there are around 4,000 political appointees, 2,200 do not require congressional approval and 1,800 do. That’s 2,200 shovel-ready jobs on day one.
