As supporters of former President Donald Trump anxiously await his selection for a vice presidential running mate, online sleuths have unearthed evidence of a website domain that may indicate his choice is already made.
Users of X on Thursday located a URL tying the former president to Doug Burgum, the popular governor of North Dakota and former Republican presidential candidate who self-funded his run before it came to an end late last year. The friendly, earnest midwestern governor has won plaudits for packaging the MAGA brand in a style that allies of Trump say will appeal to key voters he could struggle to win over in November, including suburban women. Philip Reichert with the American Conservation Coalition was the first to discover that www.trumpburgum.com is up and running and redirects to President Trump’s main campaign page.

Yes, that would be a good choice. Burgum might be good VP but he adds nothing for Trump as VP. Trump needs a VP that will bring in new voters, independents and Trump Democrats.

To be honest, Trump doesn’t NEED anyone. We are in a whole new ballgame right now and no amount of women, blacks, this state/that state, is going to matter. DJT has this; have faith that that’s true :)
Get real, fealty is wrong. I know that is no longer acceptable on FR, but people need to speak up, have opinions, maybe they changed their support, maybe they even ran before themselves. Got over it.
If you seriously reject people who ever dissed Trump, then Trump will lose in November and this viewpoint will be the primary cause.

Yup. The pandering for the sake of an election is pathetic. People see through that now anyway. Imagine Trump selecting Tim Scott just for votes?
The job of a veep is to be the spare ready to step in on a moment’s notice, if needed. (And sometimes maybe do a little bit in the Senate.)
Today, Trump needs to get Independents, Libertarians, and Democrats to join him. He needs someone that appeals to them. Granted Libertarians will appreciate his offers for cabinet posts.
