And as you defend Ramaswamy, consider your stands with Harris, Haley, Rubio, Cruz, and others. Harris was born of two non-citizen parents, they were deported to Canada, where she grew up. She's not a natural born citizen in my opinion. Haley, born of two Indian citizen parents, again same issue. Rubio, born of Cuban citizen refugees, has Cuban and US citizenship, Cruz, born in Canada of Cuban and American parents (heck, even before he ran for president he discussed as a constitutional scholar how he didn't qualify as a natural born citizen).
You might like Ramaswammy, which is fine, but let us be clear about who is constitutionally qualified and acceptable as president or VP. And, as well, since the courts avoid giving anyone standing to raise the issue, how we might choose at the ballot box. That's always my and other people's bottom line, I and some others won't vote for anyone we don't see as a natural born citizen.
Harris IS VP and that sets a legal precedence just like Obama before her. You not any other sets who is qualified as a NBC that has already been decided more than once and now legal standing is moot. The USSC will never directly take a case because it’s already been settled in practicality. A person born on American soil is qualified to be VP or Potus that is the standing law of the land and has been proven to be such not once but twice now. You don’t have to like it but that’s what it is and I will bet $10,000 the USSC will never grant standing otherwise it’s just mental masturbation for anything else. We have Harris as the VP and if Ram get the VP pic he is every bit as qualified as the legal sitting VP now it’s all moot and frankly not up to the rabble to decide Congress took no action to codify the meaning of NBC before precedence was set and now no court will touch it EVER.
