If you’re gay, you don’t “identify” as gay. You’re just gay. Same with lesbian or any other feature of human existence. You don’t for example identify as a musical genius. You are, or you aren’t. Only if you’re pretending to be something you are not must you “identify” as that thing. And, you have to tell people so they can be part of your fantasy. The problem is, if you don’t want to be part of someone’s fantasy, then YOU are the bad guy. It’s insane. And because it makes no sense, I suspect it will be a short-lived fashion statement. Like Nahur jackets and bellbottoms, in a few years people will look at the photos and think, “oh, how gross.”
I was criticized by an Uber-liberal for bringing my 1952 straight eight Pontiac to a Mustang club meeting. I said, “It self-identifies as a Mustang.” He just stood there looking at me while everyone burst out laughing. As far as I’m concerned, the whole “self-Identity” trend is just that silly.
It’s not coincidental there’s a substantial push for separate LGB from TQ+, et al.
I get the point of suing because of not following the bylaws but it seems likes their best course is to abandon the sorority that has “evolved” with the cult thinking.
That’s a nice thought but...Tattoos are not going away..what started as a butterfly or flower on a girl’s ankle ( tee hee how naughty) has spread to her butt crack and neck and face.
