Yep thats not much of an exaggeration if any.
In the 90s we had an influx of civilians to our base from the Alameda area due to a base closure......getting to know some of them a few showed me pics of their homes in cali, not impressive to say the least.....but when selling their houses real estate is so stupid expensive there, coming here some of them were actually able to buy homes in country clubs. SMH
The good thing is Mom & Dad can sell their million dollar house to pay his million dollar bail.
