What country does this concern?

One of the elements was to teach students to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, including a duty to "support our constitutional democracy."
That is impossible to do, because the U.S. Constitution created a republic, not a democracy. More proof that ABA law schools simply just teach sophism, not law.

I’m not a lawyer or dean of a law school-but shouldn’t that read “support our constitutional republic”?

Oh how high and mighty our Law Schools are!
So above the fray!
The legal profession must NEVER be questioned after such a thoughtful letter signed by so many esteemed educators!
(/sarc)
Law Schools could use this letter as a case study in “Gaslighting 101.”

I’d feel better about it if they said “support our Constitutional Republic.”

It’s obviously too late for this CYA statement. The students, faculty, and staff of these schools know it’s a lie, and everyone outside of academia sees it, too.
