Nick, I think Obamugabe pushed Joe into these statements after much coaching. The public would see a “long time, establishment, white man whose ideals have evolved”.

The public would EXPECT a radical communist-raised community organizer Alinskyite like Obama to be the “radical”...but Obama’s team got Biden, as his mental faculties declined, to be the one who suggested such idiocy.

They coaxed Biden’s public statements (he was willing to please like any good puppy dog) so as to push a perverted world view.

If the gambit failed, Obama’s hands were clean. If it succeeded, Obama gets the credit.

I don't think so. Remember how mad Obama was. Remember that quote, "Don't underestimate Joe's ability to F things up." Obama was never as leftist as some of his supporters thought. After ACA passed, he was content to sit back and coast.

Remember he promised to pass the abortion bill of rights, a vast program for them?
