You just wait. You ain’t seen nothing yet. WHEN not IF President Trump is sentenced to 40 years in prison, that will be the ultimate gag order.
Then WHEN not IF he is elected, they will need to create the Oval Prison Cell.

"Merchan to keep the gag order in place to “avoid threats to the fairness of the trial itself.”
WTH? Bragg and Merchan claimed to have given Trump a "fair trial", which we all know isn't true. How can lifting the gag order and allowing Trump to comment on his own conviction "threaten the fairness of the trial"?
What in the law am I missing that makes this make sense? These people DO make up crap as they go along. Show me the law section where this originates.

This is a constitutional violation that needs a USSC ruling. Not that I trust them.

In Nebraska Press Ass’n v. Stuart, the U.S. Supreme Court considered the following factors in analyzing the constitutionality of a gag order: “(a) the nature and extent of pretrial news coverage; (b) whether other measures would be likely to mitigate the effects of unrestrained pretrial publicity; and (c) how effectively a restraining order would operate to prevent the threatened danger [of an unfair trial for defendant].” Looks like this gag order issue should be taken up to the USSC. Per their opinion above, a gag order that extends past the actual trial is an unconstitutional prior restraint of free speech.

Obviously, the New York appeals court is not going to overturn his conviction, either, and I wouldn’t be surprised if the “judge” gave him a super heavy sentence, too. The SC will have to be his recourse. But as for this gag order, he has first amendment rights like everyone else. The SC will HAVE to intervene.
To: Macho MAGA Man
I suspect the judge will consider Trump’s cooperation with the gag order (or not) in handing out the sentence. Looks like a setup in order to trigger Trump to provide the judge with more ammo.

They need him gagged for the Debate. He should have made a deal that no questions about thr conviction unless there is no gag order on him. Ot may actually be a good time to break the gag order. During the debate then when he’s arrested it will be reported that it was as a resultnof breaking the gag order During the debate and everyone can learn it’s a big scam. Now is as good a time as any. It’s not me who will be in prison so easier said than done, no doubt.

The gallows should be busy for a while. I’m beyond wanting prison sentences for these tyrants.

One problem the conspirators in the system of pseudo justice will face is more and more people totally rejecting the system.
The trashy jurors, biased judges, preposterous verdicts and the rest are turnoffs.

Good grief. The “journalist” can’t even link to the decision by the Appeals Court?
STOP filtering the news - let US read the decision by the Court.
