When you pay taxes, remember that the bottom 20% of income earners do almost no work, do not pay taxes, and receive government aid. The next lowest 20% pay minimal taxes but also receive government support.

Once the democrats get socialism established income bracket will be flat lined except for those who operate it.
Our city recently had a contract with a private company for upgrades of the street conditions regarding gutters and sidewalks. It was extensive work on our street and three streets connected to ours, lasting about two weeks of daily 8am to 5pm work.
When some residents learned of what the city intended and contratced for regaring their sidewalks, they inquired with the company’s crew chief if they could get more than that done. The crew chief said they could if they paid for the extra work in cash, which would be money on top of what the city was paying with their contract. The crew chief was fair enough to give them an estimate, and in the cases I know of myself the estimates were lower than if it was a separate contract for that work alone. So, for the home owners it was a good deal. Those changes were quite a lot and amounted to thoudandas of dollars just on our street.
We learned that process was normal for that company and the cash was used to help pay their laborers, in cash.
Agreed!
if we stop them from taking our $$$, they’ll have less $$ with which to enslave us
Obama put more people on Disability than WW2. We are eat up with people on The Disability in Appalachia and working cash jobs like mowing lawns, car detailing, photography and cleaning houses. You might want to ponder that for a while. How are you on The Disability because you can’t work but you are mowing lawns?
Before you rip the lungs out of poor folks and their pennies, how about voicing your disdain for:
Black Rock
Clinton Uranium
Joeys 10%
etc, etc, etc . . .
Rich folks steal more than any Crack Head could ever get their hands on.
And their Bribery/Payoffs/Campaign Donations are out in the open and LEGAL.
Add in the ehat 65% who are employed by federal tax dollars.. another group for statetax dollars. So it’s really more like 80 percent when you include every person whose job is in any way tax funded.
Agree!
Only way this “underground “ economy pays it’s way.
And, stating that obvious truth cost Romney the election.
WHO GAVE BIDEN THIS KIND OF POWER?????
People who have no job and live off welfare should be counted as unemployed but they’re not. If they were, the unemployment rate would be 20% and among blacks 70%.
The weasel GOP, which has cowered and run away from the Rats for the past century.
So you’re doing the same thing the people paid cash under the table are doing?
Many vote red.
Go out to the rust belt and old mining towns. Or decaying ag towns.
That is why the GOP will not take on welfare
I have to be honest, I fell into the typical trap about thinking of urbanites on welfare, and forgot to consider deep appalachia and depress rural areas.
However, correct me if I’m wrong, but it’s a little bit easier to survive in rural places on little or no income because of the lower tax and rent burdens and lower costs of living, plus aid from local community and religious charitable organizations without being as heavily reliant on the government when you are stuck in the middle of a high tax concrete jungle. Specially before Obamacare mandates and local town physicians who didn’t charge an arm and a leg for simple care.
I think we're over the 50% line on that.
Yet another reason why there should be a flat tax. Everyone should have skin in the game.
I would prefer a consumption tax, the rich buy HUGE luxery items SO NO LOOPHOLES, the poor also are consumers on a lower level HOWEVER everyone pays!!! NO MORE withholding from payrolls!!! No MORE filing taxes, NO MORE BLOATED IRS, just a minimal staff to collect the taxes from businesses!!
“forgot to consider deep appalachia and depress rural areas.”
For years, I’ve known missionaries who live and serve the residents in Appalachia. The people were proud and were offended at true government handouts. They appreciated help with instruction on how to survive and how to make their own way.
Churches would donate clothes, etc., and they sometimes would accept that, reluctantly. They were wary of government.
Nothing like the ghetto rats and gimmedats.
Earlier in our history the congress and President both knew the constitution doesn’t authorize them to give taxpayer dollars for any form of welfare payment. It came up at least two times.
bump for later.
