I saw the full video. He did give the guy a thumbs up, but that is not the question. He wandered away from the main party.
I saw that video where Biden gave the paratrooper a thumbs up......but the p/trooper completely ignored Biden, did not acknowledge his presence, and was oblivious to Biden even being there.
