Tuesday elections: Six things to watch in Virginia, Oklahoma, and Georgia races

Voters in Virginia and Oklahoma head to the polls Tuesday, when they'll decide on a slew of congressional, but not presidential, primaries.

Chief among the most notable primary contests is whether House Freedom Caucus Chairman Bob Good (R-VA) survives a primary challenger backed by former President Donald Trump.

House Appropriations Committee Chairman Tom Cole (R-OK) is also defending his seat from a GOP rival.

Meanwhile, Georgia voters return to the polls Tuesday to vote in several primary runoff elections after candidates failed to reach a majority in the original May 21 primary races.

Not sure whether it’s Trump or whether it’s actually Chris LaCivita (Trump’s “endorsement whisperer”) who is behind the anti-conservative endorsements — sabotaging Bob Good isn’t the only example — but it’s truly idiotic.

Trump first. Couldn’t care less about any particular conservative or any principle other than Elect Trump!

After that, I’ll talk principles on any other conservative position. But ONLY after.

No conservative, or group of conservatives, is worth a finger of a fighter like Trump. They’re all essentially powerless against the Democratic mass of liars and controllers. Only with Trump is there the slightest chance of saving this Republic.

Talk about them in 2026. For now, it’s just Trump until the sound of his name drowns out everything else until Nov 2024.

I hope Hung Cao wins the primary, but he has little chance in unseating that goofball Kaine. The libs here in Northern Virginia would rather vote for the old, weird white guy than the smart and capable Asian.

The exception to that will be their backing for a new member of the Squad, Suhas Subramanyam. They also will back that treasonous Ukrainian.

Cao ran as good a race as possible in Virginia’s futile 10th district in 2022. He even out-fundraised the incumbent in terms of individual donations, but Wexton swamped him in party support and PAC pork.

Cao has zero chance against Timmy Kaine, but then neither does any Republican who is running. The GOP totally punted on this race the last time around and they will do so again, preferring to invest their limited resources elsewhere.

The liberal from the Turd World isn’t *necessarily* going to win the CD-10 primary; there is a lot of competition because Democrats believe (almost surely correctly) that winning the primary is the only real challenge, and the winner will have an easy time in November even though their candidate won’t exactly get a landslide, probably. The GOP appears to be punting on this race too.
