The Republicans in Congress should try to send to the states a constitutional amendment that would cap middle class property taxation, such as:

Property tax on any residential property of less than 2799 square feet of finished space shall be no higher the 2019 dollar amount on the property, or for a newer or since resold property what a similar property in the same area would have been taxed at for 2019 if it lacked owner specific tax breaks, increased by 3% per calendar year since 2019 and by any percentage increase to its finished living space.

Fighting for such a property tax cap now in Congress would add the electors of several deep blue states to Trump’s total and make Congress turn deep red come November.

Even devoted Democratic voters do not want to get taxed out of their homes.

A few things that President Trump with a Republican House and Senate can do to immediately stop the downward spiral:
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>.
I just explained to a neighbor that if Trump is elected his ability to stop America’s slide into Third-world status will be determined by whether the criminals lose control of Congress.

“Tell the UN, nafta and other world government bodies to pound sand. Again.”

We pay the UN to have a Security Council veto.

We could pay the UK to exercise its Security Council veto if it was not likely to be run by the leftist Labour Party.

Relax. I live in Arizona. The elites still pick who wins here. Our elections are a joke.

Senate and everything else. Our awful legislature doesn’t formally choose them, but they might as well.

“No, there is a 50 mile limit or those same protections kick in.”

Congressional Heights and Dodge (the bullets) Park are the places they ought to be.

Of course vote for the SOBs in the GOP. But let’s not get our expectations too high. Remember how they did nothing when they were in power under Trump.

I hope to God Trump wins and the GOP wins, but that will be START of repairing America. Democrats still control the government bureaucracy, the Universities, and much of the Judiciary.

The GOP stinks. But they are closer to the Democrat corporate wing than the PC kooks. They are fascist and PC too, just not as bad. Look who gave us the Patriot Act and the TSA.

But they will stab everyone in the back and we usually go first. Their knives and teeth just aren’t as sharp as the Democrats because they don’t enjoy abusing people as much. They would rather take another swim in the treasury.

So vote for them. They are the better of two awful choices.

Yes Democrats never fail to show how much worse they are than the RINOs.

“to hell with the UN. What are they gonna do invade us?”

I suspect they could cut off the legal ability of foreign nations to export critical materials and products to the USA.

Why would they do so?

US support for Israel?

Remember Muslims are taking over major Western European cities.

Quotes from the Refugee Convention:

Article 23 - Public relief

The Contracting States shall accord to refugees lawfully staying in their territory the same treatment with respect to public relief and assistance as is accorded to their nationals.

Article 17 - Wage-earning employment
....
2. In any case, restrictive measures imposed on aliens or the employment of aliens for the protection of the national labour market shall not be applied to a refugee...who fulfils one of the following conditions:
(a) He has completed three years’ residence in the country;
....
(c) He has one or more children possessing the nationality of the country of residence.

Article 34 - Naturalization [and getting the right to vote (and buy AR-15s)]

The Contracting States shall as far as possible facilitate the assimilation and naturalization of refugees. They shall in particular make every effort to expedite naturalization proceedings and to reduce as far as possible the charges and costs of such proceedings.

https://www.ohchr.org/en/instruments-mechanisms/instruments/convention-relating-status-refugees

Article 44 - Denunciation [getting out from under the Refugee Convention]
1. Any Contracting State may denounce this Convention at any time by a notification addressed to the Secretary-General of the United Nations.
2. Such denunciation shall take effect for the Contracting State concerned one year from the date upon which it is received by the Secretary-General of the United Nations....

NOTE: I do not trust any politician who has not called for invoking Article 44 to get the US out from under the Refugee Convention.

The Refugee Convention must be removed from the Democratic Party toolbox by invoking Article 44.

How the hell are they going to do that? And they already don’t support Israel. not really.

If they can get anywhere close to doing what you say here they’re already to damn big for their britches. Cut them off.

By the way, looks like the UN is making the world safe for Muslims. That’s a whole nother problem.

“We have before us an ordeal of the most grievous kind. We have before us many, many long months of struggle and of suffering. You ask, what is our policy? I will say: It is to wage war, by sea, land, and air, with all our might and with all the strength that God can give us; to wage war against a monstrous tyranny never surpassed in the dark, lamentable catalogue of human crime. That is our policy. You ask, what is our aim? I can answer in one word: It is victory, victory at all costs, victory in spite of all terror, victory, however long and hard the road may be.”

[from an earlier speech]

“We shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender.”

Winston Churchill

“And why it’s worth voting for Republicans again.”

Thank you JR, for posting this. There are quite a few here that say “don’t vote”, the Republicans don’t ‘deserve’ your vote. And they’re right, the Republicans don’t, but the country does, our children do, as well as our grandchildren.

As to those saying “don’t vote”, I suspect some are NeverTrumpers, some are trolls, but many, perhaps most, are honest conservatives who are very angry. It’s tough, but I try to tell them that they’re not voting for their daughter’s babysitter, they’re voting for a guy that, with enough support in Congress, will clean up the Courts, build the wall, and hopefully keep us out of World War 3.

It’s not a referendum on Trump or on a particular RINO, it’s our ONLY way to keep this country from becoming another Third World country, and yes, it can happen here, and yes, it WILL happen here, if we keep sitting out elections.

“The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) is one of the six principal organs of the United Nations (UN) and is charged with ensuring international peace and security, recommending the admission of new UN members to the General Assembly, and approving any changes to the UN Charter. Its powers as outlined in the United Nations Charter include establishing peacekeeping operations, enacting international sanctions, and authorizing military action. The UNSC is the only UN body with authority to issue resolutions that are binding on member states.”

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Nations_Security_Council

Article 41:

The Security Council may decide what measures not involving the use of armed force are to be employed to give effect to its decisions, and it may call upon the Members of the United Nations to apply such measures. These may include complete or partial interruption of economic relations and of rail, sea, air, postal, telegraphic, radio, and other means of communication, and the severance of diplomatic relations.

Article 42:
Should the Security Council consider that measures provided for in Article 41 would be inadequate or have proved to be inadequate, it may take such action by air, sea, or land forces as may be necessary to maintain or restore international peace and security. Such action may include demonstrations, blockade, and other operations by air, sea, or land forces of Members of the United Nations.

Jim Robinson for Vice-President!

Seriously, tho, the planks in that wish-list platform are solid oak. We all need to pray for success.

If it were up to me I’d pull the ripcord on all that BS. We are a sovereign nation. let the rest of the world have at it. They’ll come to us when they need us. We don’t need to guarantee anything.
