Nearly every time President Joe Biden appears in public these days, he fuels the chatter: Will aging Joe bow out of the 2024 race? Will he be forced to step aside?
In the latest incident, former president Barack Obama was seen on Saturday reaching for Biden's hand and seemingly guiding the 81-year-old Commander-in-Chief off the stage at a Los Angeles fundraiser.
And that came after Biden stood motionless and stared blankly for a full minute at a Juneteenth celebration at the White House on Monday, as others sang and danced around him. Eventually, Philonise Floyd, brother of the late George Floyd, noticed Biden's concerning pause and wrapped his arm around him to help.

A small, unnoticeable adjustment to his meds could fix this problem. Hillary probably knows who to call.
After last night at the Dem fund raiser, Biden don’t have a choice. Obama taking Biden’s wrist and leading him to the exit was a bad look. Dems have a plan for a replacement, they are figuring out how to do it before their convention. I don’t think it matters how Biden does in the debate.

Yeah maybe so. Biden is just a figurehead. If they can get him to crawl across the finish line that works for their agenda for now and they clean up the mess later I suppose.
Schumer will get on his hands and knees behind Biden, and Pelosi will push him backwards, thus toppling him.

I agree with you that dumping Kamala would be child’s play to the Democrat Machine, but she just might serve their purposes very well, and they managed to get Biden in the White House.

I wonder if the justice system will think anyone with the name Philonise Floyd suffers enough and will allow him his first three crimes of each year as no charges filed.
Sort of like columnist Erma Bombeck who said any woman who actually put on rubber gloves and scrubbed out and cleaned the oven every month as recommended (non self cleaning) would be forgiven every sin including adultery.
It’s important to remember that the body of the Constitution was written before the advent of political parties. It was naively believed that we would not repeat the mistake the Founders felt the English had made in their political system. The election of 1800 proved the Founders wrong.
The 25th Amendment was crafted for the situation we find ourselves in, but the mechanics of it require the VP and the President’s Cabinet to more or less betray either the well-being of the nation or the ‘leader’ of their party. The only way it will be invoked if Biden is in a long -term coma.
Biden stays in. If he wins, he quits before the mid-terms. President Harris staggers through the last two years with media protection. If Trump wins, it’s back to lawfare and attempts to remove him.
