CT maximum 93 on Friday, then a shower. other days max 89 to 91. The previous record for Friday June 21 around here is 99. It’s not much of a heat wave. I think the problem is that if your business model involves selling advertising space on a website that tells you the weather, and the weather seems normal, no one looks at the website. so Weather.com and others have to hype the weather.

“99 degrees “ HEAT INDEX which is taking temperature and adding in humidity to make a bigger number. Very stupid.

The NYC heat is among the worst I have ever experienced. It must be from the heating up of the sidewalks and roads.

No A/C? I assume the North East is like France, many people don’t have any cooling.

The 2003 heatwave “About 15,000 people died due to the heat in France. Temporary mortuaries were set up in refrigeration lorries. There were also heat-related deaths in the UK (2,000), Portugal (2,100), Italy (3,100), Holland (1,500) and Germany (300).”

Better kick out everyone in hotels and public housing to put up the illegals. The illegals must not face the least bit of inconvenience or lack any comfort.

Mayor Adams says NYC is ‘ready’ for first heat wave of the season.

Meanwhile in Montana and surrounding areas a winter storm warning is given snowing.

I remember Manhattan like that on occasion when I lived there 80s

Prewar high story floor thru

Fans no AC

Downtown the manhole lids would pop out like cannons sort of

https://www.nbcnews.com/news/amp/ncna411921

Funtime at nite though

Especially if rain cooled it off

Roxy music Avalon playing

Some Pinot on the headstand

Sweaty hot paramour

Funny isn’t it now as an old person some memories stick like yesterday
