Quality is built in, not added on.

There may have been a time it was necessary to spotlight “black history,” because of white-washing, both in the sense of excluding blacks and in the sense of excluding the bad or even the problematic. But, that time is past. Today, all of what is good and all of what is bad about our history is our history, just as all of what is white and all of what is non-white.

My wife loved the movie “Harriet” about Harriet Tubman, esp. as the movie showed her to be the strong Christian woman that she was.

The mass media and Hollywood coverage of “black heros” and “heroines” has become heavily propagandized.

I would not believe a word of it unless I carefully researched all of it from original sources.

The NASA “hidden figures” mythos is a pack of lies, exaggerations and pure fiction—and some folks around here have fallen for it.
