Trump simply can’t pick any of the Florida guys. It’d simply make no sense for him to declare himself a New Yorker again, considering everything that went down between himself and the NY courts. And it’s very strong possibility of another close election in which a GOP electoral college majority can’t be obtained without Florida. Trump can relocate to Nevada for the rest of the year and stay in his suite at the Trump hotel. He needs Nevada and being a resident would help.

The 12th amendment was about when 2nd place for president was then made vice president. We don’t elect a VP anymore we elect a President. He or she can select whoever they want from whatever state they want.
