I’ve read about “climate scientists” seriously proposing that we set off nukes to trigger a mild nuclear winter effect, sending enough dust into the upper atmosphere to partially block the sun’s light for several years. That, is insane.

Back when “The Coming Ice Age” was all the rage in the 1970’s, they were thinking of coating the ice on the poles with coal dust and oil. The dark color would adsorb the sun’s heat, thus saving the planet!
