No house arrest—They want the picture—the image—of Trump Perk-walked in chains, dressed in orange, behind bars. That is the picture they believe will end Trump forever.

They want to Epstein President Trump. No SS protection.
You may be right. The Dems are lunatics and will do anything to stop Trump. Especially if he walks over Biden in the debate. At that point, they only have this one card left to play.
That said, literally putting a political opponent behind bars screams desperation, lawlessness and vindictiveness. The risk for Dems is that kind of unhinged excess will generate an enormous wave of sympathy for Trump, and likely an immediate slap down of this kangaroo court by the USSC. After all, if they do nothing to stop this political lawfare we are done as a country. Over and out.
But we will see just how crazy they are pretty soon.
