I was getting ready to make the same comment as you did. I have to admire the writers’ attempt to put lipstick on this pig. I watched the video of FJB descending the baby steps of AF1—that wasn’t ‘hustling’!
The ‘empty streets’ part was interesting. If Trump lands somewhere, even early in the morning, there are crowds on the streets.
