I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ungodly tired of the depressing, pessimistic responses everybody gives to everything here. It’s beyond unhealthy. It’s also a sure loser.
It isn’t that yall aren’t 100% correct that nowhere near enough has been done to bolster election laws that prevent vote fraud. It also isn’t that you are right to be skeptical of putting faith in opinion polls when vote totals are the actual final word. It isn’t that you aren’t correct that our side has to unfairly compete & get out It’s messaging in a lopsided media environment biased towards the left. I also completely get the irritation with our side not showing up overwhelmingly as expected I’m the last couple of elections. Believe me, I also get that our side has to contend with not only fighting the left, but also establishment dissenters from the right, suburban women going flimsy, academic totalitarians, Hollywood carpetbombing & our coalitions infighting.i get it! I’m not wanting rose colored glasses- that never helps, it hinders!
What I cannot take is the blanket of negativity thrown over everything, taking any decent news & running it down, the posture of a predetermined angry loser & listening to a lot of folks complain but not actually doing much to change things. In our best times of domination electorally, we were led with a spirit of fight, but also lucky optimism. How do you expect to win over undecided voters (which we need to win) by constantly broadcasting your lack of faith in your movement or its ability to win & overcome anything thrown at it.
Your entire negative demeanor- whether you realize it or not- is probably the main element causing our recent losses. Even more than vote fraud, our collective bad mood is defeating us. I’ve been watching this take over since around 2018. I’ve spent my life running campaigns & have a lot of experience with what brings wins & what doesn’t. We are driving down our own vote. The more you broadcast the negativity & cast yourself as a victim of this or that- the more votes you chase away. Of course we should be reinforcing voting laws, etc., but my suspicion is we could do all of that & likely lose a legitimate vote too because of what we are projecting.
I’ve always expected victimology out of Democrat voters & political correctness & identity politics. I never thought I’d see conservatives starting to take part in victim culture. It’s not a good look on us. It’s not what we are based on. We are losing because of it. If things don’t change soon & fast, I’m going to abandon ship because I’m in it to win it & want to work towards victory. I’m not staying indefinitely tied to a Bloc that doesn’t know how to fake it til they make it & spends more time complaining than winning! 🤔🫣🙄😏😉
