He’ll be OK, if doesn’t get a care package from his wife like the one that Navalny got from his wife...
He was may have been collecting information on refurbishment rates for tanks destined for UKR.
In totalitarian regimes truth is a state secret.
WSJ readers have been DEMANDING news stories from/about Urals factories for decades, therefore
HE CAN’T BE AGENCY
“Does anyone know what sort of reporter he is? Is he a Neo-conservative?”
The WSJ’s reporters used to be far-left (which is no different than the Neocons, regarding Russia and the Ukraine War), while their Editorial Page was conservative (when it meant something). Since then, who knows. But if I were his family, I’d be suing the hell out of the WSJ, for essentially sending him to a Russian prison, when the had to know the risks of trying to interview workers leaving a tank factory during a ‘full-scale war’ (LOL).
I find it difficult to have sympathy for any “journalist”, anywhere. Journalisim is not a noble profession.
Hope he gets American Justice like Trump did.
