I’m suspecting the charge has to do with the gun homeowner used being allegedly stolen.

I bought my Colt Python at a gun show in 1996. It was preciously owned by an abortion doctor who had death threats against him and decided to give up the practice and sold the gun. I recently had an offer to sell it for 10 times what I paid for it. NO WAY.

And as long as he smartly keeps his mouth shut, that could go away too. The police ARE NOT on your side.

Was that an old Python, or one of the new ones?

Did the homeowner know it was stolen?

Was it his first offence? (A La Hunter)

Agreed....from I hear the 77 year old had a stolen Colt Python that he shot the intruder with.

My thoughts are if he had it legally...he wouldn’t be out of the woods given that this happened in Liberal Oakland...but the Prosecutor would have a much harder time making a case.
