House Republicans are prepping their legislative plans for 2025 with eyes on controlling all levers of power in Washington next year.

Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) said Wednesday that he’s bullish about the GOP’s chances of not only keeping control of the House, but also seizing the Senate and sending former President Trump back to the White House for a second term.

With that trifecta in mind, Republican leaders are already honing a bold strategy to send a slate of promised policy priorities — everything from tax cuts and deregulation to border security and deficit reduction — to Trump’s desk as swiftly as possible.

“When he comes in, we’ve got to have a very aggressive first-100-days agenda,” said Johnson, who huddled Wednesday with Senate Republicans during their weekly lunch gathering.

First get rid of the filibuster in the senate or forget it all. I doubt most of this would get 60 votes. 50 would be a better opportunity. Will the senate do it?

That’s the COMPLETE opposite of what Paul RYNO did to Trump during his first year when RYNO kept the House of Reps on recess so Trump couldn’t accomplish anything. Probably done at Romney’s direction to his faggy sychophant.

Yep. At least Ronna is gone but the current co-chairs of the RNC hasn’t proven anything yet.

I know many would disagree but I’d put the ball in motion for dividing the country into two sovereign nations. One, for American type people and one for the communists/democrat voters. We will never have peace and may in fact be destroyed if we try to stay together.

When it comes to DC, believe what they say only when you see it.

The first 100 day agenda is to DO NOTHING. Your agendas have run up $36T of debt. There is NOTHING you can do that doesn’t make it worse.

Your 100 day agenda is to forbid all lobbyists from the Capital and the office complex for members of Congress. Get that passed and then worry about anything else.

Trump is not coming to power to advance a GOP agenda. He is coming to power to stop ALL agendas.
