I thought some might be interested in this article from City Journal regarding the Jewish movement to the political right. It's been slow, but conservatives have made some headway over the past few years, and especially over the past few months. We'll see.

Jews in blue states may be moving to Republican candidates further down on the ballot, while still voting Democrat for the top of the ticket. I don’t think there’s going to be big move towards Matt Gaetz, MTG, or Lauren Bobert.

For much of modern history in both Europe and North America, Jews have been reliably left of center politically, backing Democrats in the United States, Labour in Britain, Canada’s Liberals, and France’s Socialists. In recent years, though, Jews are moving toward the center, and, somewhat tentatively, even the right.

About Britain, not so much. Assimilated middle class British Jews felt more out of place in the Labour Party than in the Conservative Party. Margaret Thatcher's constituency, her government, and her inner circle all had many Jews. Labour had Jewish intellectuals and many working class and immigrant Jews, but shop owners and businessmen didn't trust Labour.

No. Especially the older Jews I know. Some are conservative, some are liberal - none are changing their minds. To the liberal, secular Jews, Republicans = Whites = Nazis and that early conditioning cannot be overcome.

We need to get something straight here. Jews are Conservatives. Jewish people are Liberals. All Jews are Jewish but not all Jewish people are Jews. A Jew is someone who believes in Eretz Yisroel. A Zionist if you will.

How do I know this? I know this because I am a “Zionist Hoodlum.” I have many friends who are both Jews and Jewish and have witnessed this first hand.

Wait until Israel conquers the whole of the territory and expels the Arabs from Gaza and the West Bank.

All of a sudden US tech giants, politicians, movies, AIPAC and the press will decide “Nationalism” is a good thing now that Jews have a unified nation of their own.

Just watch.

Culturally, I doubt it. I can see a bump in GOP support, but nothing permanent.

They fear the potential Heydrich lurking in the heart of every Christian rightie more than they do Muslim nutters overseas

Historicall most politics they cling to either turns on them or creates a reaction that attacks them in perceived retribution

The Baltics and Ukraine really had this in spades
