President Trump’s visit to Newport Beach, California on June 8, 2024, brought thousands of enthusiastic supporters to the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway and Jamboree Road near Balboa Island. The next day, mariners for Trump, their watercraft of all sizes festooned with flags and banners, sailed through Newport Harbor.
Those boat parades are impressive! On the ICW near West Palm Beach, we had a ball!
There were dozens (scores?) of these in 2020 which told me that there was no way President Trump was going to lose re-election.
I love Newport Landing. Went on a deep sea fishing trip from there once. Wish I could have been there.
Both Newport Landing and Davey’s Locker are great for deep sea fishing.
Dont get me wrong...its always nice to see support for Trump regardless of where he is...but why is he wasting time in CA versus..like Pennsylvania or Michigan or Georgia?
If Trump somehow pulls a miracle and wins Calif how Yuuuuuuggge would that be?
Thanks for posting...moved from there in 2006 - still miss it and always will!!!! Took lots of walks years ago around Balboa Island when our daughter was little and then she grew up and lived on the beaches...took a bus to the beach, surfboard and all.
OC proved to be a disappointment after we moved so good thing we left when we did. Good friends remained conservatives while others surprised us...It looks good for Trump this year but we can always be surprised.
Trump was in California to raise funds. His big rally this weekend was over the border in Nevada, a battleground state. But he shouldn’t give up on California. A lot of folks out here are sick and tired of the wokeism that is making our lives increasingly miserable.
He should only go there for fundraising.
