Senate seats have nothing to do with population. Senators represent the State. Why I believe the 17th Amendment should be overturned.

Senate seats have nothing to do with population. Senators represent the State. In the original plan, the Senate, appointed by state legislators rather than directly, were supposed to guard against federal government expansion beyond Constitutional boundaries.

Mad libs want to (1) do away with the Electoral College and (2) The Senate (e.g. why should lowly populated Wyoming have two Senators… just like New York?!).

That's a fallacy. Senators represent whoever gives them the most money, or can give them the best job after they leave office, or do favors for their spouse or kids. They do not represent the state from which they were elected, nor can that state recall them from office. They certainly aren't prohibited from taking campaign contributions from foreign or out of state donors either. Repealing the Seventeenth Amendment has zero popular support.

They fail the most basic civics questions. If they don’t understand the Senate, it’s not surprising they think J6 was in insurrection. Their suspicion and paranoia is why the electoral college is there to protect us as well as why the senate is apportioned the way it is. The Left fear what they fear because of their own craven impulses and appetite for political scheming.
