When she discovers that she is pregnant, if the mother wants to keep her baby, it is referred to as a baby. If the mother doesn’t want the baby it is referred to as a fetus or a lump of none viable cells yet it is the same being. Scientifically speaking, two or more adjoining cells require a vascular system. If it has a vascular system it is a living being. Once the egg is fertilized it almost immediately begins to divide thus developing a vascular system. Physiologically, it is a baby.
