Rubio will solidify the Hispanic vote which is needed in Florida, Texas, and Nevada not to mention others.
Getting elected is the primary goal.
In my opinion a white female or male VP will not swing votes. A white male is on top of the ticket and the female vote is based on emotional issues not gender.
A black male VP may influence the black male vote that is disgruntled with fake Biden. And Tim Scott would fit that Role
Hispanics do tend to self identify more than other groups and so a Hispanic VP could move those numbers a bit.
Rubio would be safe to a plus move for Trump. The Republican establishment would welcome it which brings along money and influence.
Vivek is not ready to be President IMO, sorry, but he would move some of the younger vote.
If President Trump wants an ally who will not stab him in the back and may swing a bit of the vote then Ben Carson would fit the bill.
In my opinion all the other choices would just wash out before it is all over.
