As a reminder, both Art. II, Sec. 1 and the 12th Amendment say that electors must vote for at least one person on the presidential/vice presidential slate who is from a state other than their own. This goes back to the days when the president and vice president ran separately.
It’s never been tested now that they’re part of a joint ticket. Wisdom suggests that, if Trump has Rubio or Donalds as his Veep, Democrats will try to invalidate Florida’s Electoral College count.

I’d like to see Mark Robinson just so that it would be doubling the enjoyment of watching the campaign, eviscerating Kamaltoes during the debates (or finding some excuse to not show up), watching lieberal heads explode daily etc....

Rubio Negatives: supported and voted for the Gang of 8 Amnesty bill in 2012. Total phony
Scott Negatives: endorsed Lisa Murkowski. Total phony.
When push came to shove, these two were on the other side.

The rest of that statement notes that Trump could just take up residence in another state, if he chooses a Florida resident.
(Of the list, I’ve liked what I’ve seen of several, especially Stefanik...)

Excellent point. Rubio is a non-starter in that case. That's why DeSantis couldn't be veep either. You are right. We have had enough lawfare to last 10 lifetimes. I do NOT want to even think about "hanging shards" ever again.

I have many problems with this person’s assessment.
It is a poor job actually and leaves out key negatives about a few.

Rubio: "there are no negatives"Oh good grief. Anyone who says that has to have absolute political amnesia. Rubio is a Deep State asset, quintessential GOPe, and has been Mr. Amnesty for his entire career until 5 minutes ago.

Tim and Marco are both poor choices.

Johnny Carson-no equal.
Vince Lombardi.
Any others?

I'm a Byron Donalds fan. Saw him in an ambush interview where he not only held his own, he dominated the panel with calmly delivered truth.
To be honest I don't know much of his stance on many issues but I think he would be a pick I can support. He is from FL so the residency thing would have to be worked out.

The smartest thing I’ve heard anyone say on this topic is that Trump needs to pick someone the left would detest as much as he. Its his security.

I was listening to a youtube clip the other day and thought to myself; “this guy sounds like another Trump and I wonder if he is interested in entering the political arean.
This guy = “Mr. Wonderful”. Kevin O’Leary.
O’Leary is a born leader and knows how to get things done just like Trump. Probably won’t happen but someone to think about.
