My question is why is ANY political symbol, other than the U.S. Flag, painted on ANY roadway. What gives any locality, state, or federal government unit the right to portray allegiance to ANY political movement? To me, if they are to represent ALL the people they have no such right or obligation to make themselves a party to any political movement.
My question is how do you paint anything on the road and NOT expect it will eventually get skid marked?
Is there any evidence these kids did it out of hate? Not that it really matters. You paint colors on the road and kids will play. It’s just paint on the road. As you said it’s not really a monument and if you wanted to protect it you wouldn’t put it in the middle of an intersection
Exactly.
Even painting the US flag on a roadway seems wrong. Why is dept of education flying the progress pride flag? We don’t need any this social credit virtue signaling from a government of the people, for the people and by the people. The US flag is inclusive enough.
