Prominent FiveThirtyEight pollster Nate Silver posed a foreboding question for Democrats on Monday.
The question came on the heels of a devastating revelation for President Joe Biden’s re-election campaign.
The president just reached a new all-time low in approval. According to FiveThirtyEight’s average of national polls, Biden’s approval rating stands at a mere 37.6 percent.
This prompted Silver’s foreboding question.
“… Biden just hit a new all-time low in approval (37.4%) at 538 yesterday. Dropping out would be a big risk. But there’s some threshold below which continuing to run is a bigger risk. Are we there yet?” Silver wrote. “I don’t know. But it’s more than fair to ask.”
Silver also pointed out that if projections hold, former President Donald Trump, the presumptive Republican nominee, will top the incumbent Democrat by seven points.

Be aware, people, there are polls, not just one or two, but not many, that show a Biden lead. The RCP national average is Trump +0.5%. These Biden lead polls are splashed on Newsweek.
The reason this is favorable is the 2020 polling averages Sept to November were Biden +7%.
Note also that the decision to drop out is not particularly Biden’s. It is his team’s. As long as he stays in, with a chance to win, they have a chance at keeping or growing their senior positions. If he drops out, they have no chance of keeping them, even with a Dem win. They will be replaced by the new guy’s team.

Its very possible that the tricks they used in 2020 either are not going to work or the Obamabots who made it happen are not going to do it this time.

Keep in mind Nate Silver is a hard core leftist. That said, polls mean nothing when they have mail in ballots, drop boxes and rigged Dominion machines.

Exactly. But for the most part he still has the MSM in his corner, which is telling. Unless we start to see signs of a modified limited hangout, Biden is going to be their guy.
I see everyone has their excuses ready if Biden or any Democrats wins. That isn’t a good sign.

Rules are irrelevant to the DNC, so if they want to remove him, they will. But it seems that the warnings have been there for some time, and he could have been reasonably replaced long ago, and it would have been readily accepted by the Democrat supporters.
My conclusion, then is that the power behind Biden is content with his diminished capacity, and has a fairly solid strategy to win the election.
The only Democrats who seem to be really panicking are people like Carville (who is no longer an insider) and Nate Silver (who thinks the DNC is honest).
No President in US history has been re-elected with an approval rating even close to that figure.
So if Biden, “wins”, it will be a certainty that the election was rigged.
Its too late for the Donkeys to try to parachute in somebody else and of course, they have the Heels Up Harris problem. They can’t skip over her and she’s an even worse candidate.

All of our states had strict rules and LAWS governing election processes. But a dozen states illegally and completely ignored and voided those state laws to allow ballot harvesting, mail-in voting, ballot “curing,” delivery of ballots outside the legal time window, no signature matching, ignoring missing date on ballot envelopes, etc to steal the election.
If they can blithely ignore such codified election LAWS, do you really think a silly, mere party rule will stop the DNC from doing whatever the Powers That Be want?

True. Dems will vote D; Republicans R. The needed undecided are easily swayed with a fresh face, a new perspective, and up-and-comer.
All this talk about replacing Biden and no mention of the difficulties in changing the ballots in all 50 states? I recognize that there are places like Ohio where the supposed Republican governor would do anything he could to help the dems get their new candidate on the ballot, but I’d certainly HOPE that not all states are like that.
