The Free Stuff Piñata Estates. Socialist freeloaders love it. Sure beats working for a living.

Will the homeless be given hammers to help destroy the building? Or will they have to go out and steal their own hammers? The article doesn’t say.

A separate police ‘task force’ will be necessary to maintain order in THAT environment

And the new tenants will bring the squalor and hopelessness in with them.

Call me crazy, but I wouldn’t recommend high rise living quarters for people who are habitually on drugs.

Unless drug addiction and mental illness are addressed in this population FIRST, they will utterly destroy each and every apartment in this building in short order.

I image they’ll be bringing a lot of permanent “guests” as well. Family members, drinking buddies, etc. That’s going to be one hopping place.

This is the same “great idea” the old Soviet Union had. It didn’t work there either.

The gov’t has no business being in the apartment business. Public housing has always been a failure.

This is about money laundering. An agent for an "overseas" investment firm finances the building and later goes to a bank for a loan against that building.
Rinse and repeat.

That will be one sweet ass world class drug den. No doubt Hunter will swing by.

You can bet the Mexican drug cartels are getting ready to set up their offices there.

Well, I guess it'll make life a little easier for the dope pushers.
Maybe the city will give them a storefront on the first floor.. :)
