To: Dan in Wichita

The NAZI party, which stood for Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei or NSDAP, which translates into English as National Socialist German Worker’s Party is always described as “far right.” So, in this instance, what does
far right mean? Does this describe a circle where Left is directly connected to far right? Then, conservative would be on the opposite side of the circle? I’m so confused.

The Right believes in a small central government, and many personal freedoms.
The Left believes in a large central government, and few personal freedoms.

It is obvious that the Nazis were leftists. But they wore fancy military uniforms. So I guess that makes them far-right.
